Monastery Dead is a death metal band from Russia. It was founded in October 2004. During these years the band has given a lot of live shows in different cities of Russia and had some gigs in Finland. In April 2009, the debut album, "Victims Of Senseless Massacre," was issued on Musica Production, the respected in Russia underground label. Monastery Dead performed as a supporting band on the scene with Haemorrhage, Fleshless, Dying Fetus, Debauchery, Amagortis and other well known bands. In the year 2011, Anton Dubov, the vocalist, left the band, and since the end of the year 2011 the band has female vocals. Daria Semikhatova is a new vocalist of the band; she's already recorded all vocals to the new upcoming album. Now the album is on the phase of mixing and mastering and is planned to be issued in the beginning of March 2012.
