Noxumbra was created in 2011 and recorded a teaser track titled, “Immortal Soul,” in January of 2012. Noxumbra’s front woman, guitar player, writer, and lyricist is Darkat. The drummer is Carnitherus from the war metal band, Kriegsherr. The lyrical content and themes of Noxumbra are Vampyrism, spirituality, Satanism, depression, hatred, misanthropy, chaos, Gnosticism, death worship, Lilith, and the adversary.
